City Administrator/Recorder - $33,000-$43,000 annually with benefits -   The City of Joseph is seeking a full-time City Administrator/Recorder.  The City Administrator/Recorder reports to the City Council.  Attends all City Council, budget and special meetings as required.    Performs administrative and professional work in planning and supervising all city financial operations and functions including general accounting, budget preparation and monitoring, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and revenue functions.  Explains ordinances requirements as needed to the general public.  Prepares and administers grants for the city departments.  Prepares draft ordinances for council review.   Reviews all zoning applications for compliance, prepares staff reports, noticing and findings for all applications.  The listed duties may not include all the tasks which an employee may be expected to perform.  This position requires an Associate’s Degree in related field or five years’ experience in an office setting or equivalent experience and education combination.  Job offers for this position are contingent on the individual passing a pre-employment drug screen, criminal history check and driving record check.  Applicant must be able to be bonded.  Closing date August 16, 2017
