Summer is just around the corner, and that means the annual Joseph City Library Summer Reading Program is set to begin!  Weekly programs for preschool - 2nd grade students will happen on Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 24th and will continue through Tuesday, July 29th.  Children and parents are welcome to come every Tuesday, or any Tuesday that they can! Can't participate in the weekly programs? You can still be involved in the reading incentive program by picking out a prize when you visit the library and have read a library book or have one read to you. You will be registered in the end of the year drawing for a bigger prize! The drawing will be held August 15th at the Pet Show, and you do not have to be present to win.

Not only is the weekly program set to begin, but there are some monthly reading programs as well! See below for the listing of monthly programs.

On June 20th, we will be hosting a "Glow in the Dark Fair" with laser pegs, glow rocks, techno bubbles, and much more from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

On July 11th, we will host an "Outdoor Science Fair" from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

On August 15th, the theme is "Pet Show" from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.  Lots of prizes will be awarded at this program, so you won't want to miss it!

We hope to see you at any or all of our summer reading events, or just stop by the library and read a book!
