Dear Joseph Resident,

You are being sent this notice as required by State law and City of Joseph land use regulations. Please note there will be a City Council Special Land Use Hearing on the following two applications on April 12, 2018 at 6 pm or shortly after. The hearing will be held at Joseph Community Center, 102 E. First Street Joseph, Oregon. You are invited to provide comment and feedback.

1. Applicant Paul Arentsen is applying for a conditional use permit to install 4-RV spaces at 204 East Wallowa Avenue also known as Map 02s45e29cc, Tax Lot 4100.
2. Applicant Randy and Janet Smith are applying for a conditional use permit to build a shop at 408 South Lake Street prior to building a residence, also known as Map 02s45e32bb, Tax Lots 8500 and 8600.

The proposed ordinance which regulates the above applications Joseph Zoning Ordinance 2009-01 is available for review at City of Joseph City Hall, 201 N. Main Street Joseph, Oregon. The staff report will be available seven (7) days prior to the public hearing. Copies of the proposed ordinance and file information are available for purchase.
Failure to raise an issue at the hearing, in person or by letter, and provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the City Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue.
